RFP Win - Oak Grove - Opportunity Appalachia

Back in August of 2024, PE Squared was both the prime subcontractor and civil engineering subconsultant in a winning proposal to provide civil engineering design services for an affordable housing project in Asheville, North Carolina.  
Below is a pitch video produced by Real Digital Productions staring team members from PE Squared, PLLC, Dwayne Richardson from Pathways to Procurement, LLC and Matt Raker, Executive Director of Mountain Bizworks.

Mountain Bizworks is the local coordinator for Opportunity Appalachia who is providing high-impact projects that drive new investmints in sustainable community driven job creating projects.  Our goal with this project Oak Grove is to provide affordable housing in West Asheville.
We are proud to include our firm as a prefered vendor for future Opportunity Appalachia projects.

Tennessee Drone and AAM Symposium

New Services

We are exited to announce we have launched new services. PE Squared, PLLC now offers drone mapping and engineering surveys.  These services can either be provided in assistance to a surveyor as an in-house engineering survey to support our engineering services.

Our extensive investments in equipment and expertise allow us to create increadibly detailed 3d models and point clouds.

Check out some of these examples:

1. Chick-fil-a South Boulevard, Charlotte

Project was to perform and engineering survey of a 1.4 acre commercial property.  Deliverables included a 2d ortho photo, 3d TIN, 3d model, 3d point cloud of the recently renovated Chick-fil-a location on South Boulevard.

2. Costco, Tyvola Road, Charlotte

Project was to perform and engineering survey of a 25 acre commercial property.  Deliverables included a 2d ortho photo, 3d TIN, 3d model, 3d point cloud of Costco and adjacent outlots.

Engineering Firm Bought for $3.2bn

Engineering firm Amec and rivil engineering firm Foster Wheeler have agreed to terms that have Amec making the purchase for $3.2bn according to The Guardian.
